He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grady Blackwell and Myrtis Moore Blackwell of Westminster; his brother Glenn Blackwell; and his grandson Tanner Silvers. He is survived by: his wife Linda Grace Butts Blackwell; his children, Ricky Alexander Blackwell, Phillip Allen Blackwell, Angela Lynn Seagle (Courtney) of Westminster and Barbara G. Graham (David) of Seneca; his grandchildren, Emily Graham, Allison Silvers, Sierra Silvers, Tyler Silvers, Jacob Silvers and Lizabeth Hoback; his great grandchildren, Barbara Smith and Dominic Smith; and his brother Richard Blackwell (Lisa) of Walhalla.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693).
