He was predeceased by: his parents, John C Stone and Connie Cato Stone. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Sturgis Stone; his daughter Julie Stone of Richburg; his grandsons, Caleb and Noah Sloan; and his sister Anice Grant of Spartanburg.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel (2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Stone's name to Catawba Baptist Church, 1450 S. Anderson Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
