He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Jenkins and Ellen Oxner Jenkins; his wife Linda; and his siblings, Martha Plemmons, Ruthie Garner and Vernon Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Carol Jenkins, Jr. (Toni) of Whitmire, Tina Homesley (Cameron) of Murrells Inlet and Wista Alexander (Todd) of Whitmire; and his siblings, Elmer Jenkins of Whitmire and Francis Adams of Union. He is also survived by grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gray Funeral Home- Whitmire (445 Church St, Whitmire, SC 29178). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (2247 Little Egypt Rd, Whitmire, SC 29178). A burial was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lebanon Cemetery (3965 Mt Bethel Garmany Rd, Newberry, SC 29108).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 2247 Little Egypt Rd., Whitmire, SC 29178.
