She was predeceased by: her spouse Johnnie Eugene Lawson, Sr.; her parents, Burgain Holmes and Lillie Hill Morrison; her granddaughter Candice Suber Bruce; and her siblings, Dorothy Ann McDowell, Ruth Morrison, Pauline Strickland, Helen Armstrong Coates, Evelyn Wilson and D. L. Morrison.
She is survived by: her children, Johnnie Lawson (Gloria) of Whitmire and Elizabeth Lawson Brown of Whitmire; her grandchildren, Felicia Dawn Mosley, Johnathan Dean Brown and Kristin Lawson Moore (James); her great grandchildren, Autumn Raine Brown, Jarrett Glenn Bruce, Jr. and Hunter Layne Brown; and her sister Millie Gwinn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whitmire First Baptist Church (445 Church St, Whitmire, SC 29178). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
