He was predeceased by: his brother Bobby Wayne Kitchens. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lee Franklin Kitchens; his son John Michael Kitchens (Lee Ann); and his granddaughters, Addyson and Avery Kitchens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends and family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shady Grove Presbyterian Church (3353 Whitmire Hwy, Kinards, SC 29355). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
