She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lewis Knight and Lillie Fuller Knight; her husband James Aaron Peay; and her son Aaron Kirkland "Kirk" Peay. She is survived by: her daughter Karon Peay Owens (Boyd); her grandchildren, Kyle Owens and Megan Owens; and her great grandchildren, Allie Owens, Jamey Owens and Cason Owens.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel (445 Church St, Whitmire, SC 29178). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at the Whitmire Cemetery (211-219 Cemetery Dr, Whitmire, SC 29178).
