He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Crisp Ellison; his children, Ray Ellison, Jr. (Susan), Crystal Stevens (Shannon) of Whitmire and Rebecca Renea Ellison of Whitmire; his stepdaughters, Dianne Phillips and Kathleen Gilmore (Greg); his sisters, Elaine Ellison and Edith Nelson; his grandchildren, William Lominick (Emily), Alex Ellison (Logan), Anna Lominick, Caylee Claytor (Danny), Mak Lominick (James) and Lynlee Beaman (Justin); his stepgrandchildren, Johnathon, Nick Beach, Cassidy, Kristen, Claira Siriphong and Gracie Gilmore; and his great grandchildren, Cayden, Colter Claytor, Lawson Ellison and Walker "Walter" Beaman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (2247 Little Egypt Rd, Whitmire, SC 29178). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Whitmire Cemetery (211-219 Cemetery Dr, Whitmire, SC 29178).
