He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphesus "Watson" Rentz, Sr. and Iris Elaine Lyon Rentz. He is survived by: his wife Diane Brown Rentz; his daughters, Ashley Acuff (David) and Lauren Travis (Kendrick); his grandsons, Luke Acuff and Drake Acuff; and his sister Nancy Crawford (Charles).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gray Mortuary (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church (1300 Anderson Dr, Williamston, SC 29697).
