He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mamie R. Dean, Hazel R. Mattison, Venezuela R. Billups, C. Reid, Columbus L. Reid, William R. Reid, Marcus W. Reid and Clarence W. Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Washington Reid; and his children, Reggie (Laurie) and Daphne Herrin (Eddie). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
