She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Leon "Boogie" Kay, Jr.; her parents, Cecil Eugene and Jean Baldwin Griffith; and her brothers, William and Kenneth Griffith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Cheslak (Tim) and Karen Jones (Eddie); her grandchildren, Nikki Horne, Sammy Horne, Jr., Brandon Jones (Mackenzie) and Anthony Cheslak (Michaela); her great grandchildren, Savana, Nate, Joshua, Jaxon, Wade, Wilder, Watson, Arya, Everleigh and Maverick; and her siblings, Judy Stallings and Phil Griffith.
