It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll Fricks of Williamston, South Carolina, born in Piedmont, South Carolina, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances Rainey Fricks; his parents, Thomas Clarence and Elvie Rowland Fricks; his children, Teresa Fricks Hamlett (Mike) of Charleston, Tonya Fricks of Bluffton, Tiffany Brooks (Wes) of Belton, Tony Fricks (Sonja) of Belton and Tim Fricks (Brandy) of Piedmont; and his siblings, Martha Burgess of West Pelzer, Jayne Marsh of Spartanburg and Don Fricks of Bowling Green, KY. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that masks be worn, and social distancing observed.

Memorials may be made to ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, 5211 West Broad St., Ste. 102, Richmond, VA 23230 (In honor of his great-granddaughter, Sophie Manning) or Alzheimer's Association, 4124 Clemson Blvd., Anderson, SC 29621.

He cared for those around him and was there for me during many difficult times. He was a steward for God and ahead of his day in perspective and willingness to adapt when many in his generation and age would and/or could not. I miss that man but am more so comforted knowing he is with Frances and Our Lord.”
