He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bennett Bunton and Genevieve Ellenburg Bunton; and his sister Jo Ann Bunton Davenport. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Duncan Bunton; his children, Randy Dale Bunton (Susan) of Williamston, Beverly Denise "Dee" Bunton of Williamston, Gregory Brian Bunton (Teresa) of Anderson and Kelly Bunton Cooley of Williamston; his brothers, Herman Ray Bunton (MaryAnne) of Williamston and Ted Bennett Bunton (Cynthia) of Pelzer; and his grandchildren, Jason Wyatt (Chay), Jennifer Scott (Steven), Jaime Crawford (Chad), Lindsey Angle (Russell), Heather Tran (Matthew), Brittany Smith (Justin), Jessica Hudson (Kiki), Clay Bunton (Morgan) and Luke Bunton (Taylor). He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
