He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell "Bud" Rogers and Jeanette Coker Rogers; and his brother Carl Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Frances Elizabeth "Lib" Kelly Rogers; his children, Lisa R. Talbert (Michael), Ginger Elaine Rogers and Douglas F. Rogers (Nancy); his grandchildren, Alex Talbert (Caitlin), Erik Talbert (Alyssa), Connor Rogers and Carly Elizabeth Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Fiona, Orion and Westley Talbert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
