She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Wilson Grant; her parents, Joe Abney and Eunice Abney; her children, Sandra Alexander and Bob Hastings; and her brother Gerald Abney.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce McCall and John Hastings. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens Chapel (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673). An entombment will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1300 Anderson Drive, Williamston, SC 29697.
