As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband James F. Butterfield, Sr.; her parents, Millard Lewis and Gertrude Mandilee Darnell Kelly; and her siblings, Lynne Yvonne Ashley, Mary Ann Bartodej, Margie Lathem, Cynthia Jane Thompson, Millard Lewis Kelly Jr. and Glen Edwin Kelly.
She is survived by: her son James F. Butterfield (Lorraine); and her sisters, Frances Elizabeth "Lib" Rogers (Floyd) and Linda Faye Raven (Ron). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gray Mortuary (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gray Mortuary Chapel (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669).
