Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joyce Faye Williamson Ellison; his parents, Clarence Ellison and Palestine Ellison; his son Mike Ellison (Melissa); his grandchildren, Sydney Ellison Thomas, Connor Ellison and Gavin Howard; and his great grandchild Emree Cobb.
Flowers are accepted or the family would like memorials to be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
