She was predeceased by: her husband William Robert Valentine; her parents, Lawrence Clayton and Sallie Louetta Sumner Paris; her children, Debra Dove, Donna Dove, Randall Dove and Ronald Dove; and her siblings, Bess Haney, Cecil Paris and Allen Paris.
She is survived by: her son Gaige Sherman (Kendra); her sister Vivian Paris Presher; her grandchildren, Kelly Hollingsworth (Chad), Phillip Sherman (Amanda), Dennis Dove, Daniel Dove, Keegan Dove, Andrew Sherman, Katie Ochiltree (Peyton), Caribeth Hollingsworth and Keagen Wright; and her stepchildren, David Valentine, Bobby Valentine, Kim Valentine and Cindy Wells.
