He is survived by: his wife Tanya Scharrell Wheeler Garrett; his mother Dorothy Jane Tice Medlock; his sons, Brandon Garrett, Hunter Garrett and Jacob Garrett (Carley); his siblings, Shannon Garrett, Tonya Taylor and Elysia Coster; and his grandchildren, Haleigh, Kaden, Levi, Kash, Scout, Miller Garrett, Baylor Bowman and James Wilurn, Jr..
