With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Olive Nation of Williamston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Olive had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Olive may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Oliver and Olivia Burgess Porter; and her grandson Randall Tristan Nation. She is survived by: her husband Walter B. Nation, Jr.; her daughters, Rhonda Gail Byrum (Kenneth) of Anderson and Karen Diane LeCroy of Fair Play; and her grandchildren, Oliver Campbell, Kari Shaw and Jessica Olivia Duffney. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
