We bid farewell to Rachel Hill of Williamston, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Rachel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband William Alphis Hill; her parents, Kenneth A. McAlister and Lillian Paige McAlister; and her siblings, Shirley Bannister and Leon McAlister.
She is survived by: her son William Hill; her siblings, Leila Culbertson and Kenneth McAlister, Jr. (Tina); her granddaughter Tiffany Thompson (Nicholas); and her great grandchildren, Payten Thompson, Nick Thompson, Jr. and Cassidy Thompson.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Gray Mortuary Chapel (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669). A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Pine Lawn Cemetery (1 Woodcock Rd, Pelzer, SC 29669).
