He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas S. McGinnis and Mary Jane Wood McGinnis; his son Richard McGinnis; and his brother Timothy A. McGinnis. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Ryder McGinnis; his children, Misty Adams (Zeke), Timothy A. McGinnis, II (Sara Hood) and Melissa Hutto (Jonathan); and his siblings, Joe, Mike McGinnis and Kate Frasier. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (324 Belton Dr, Williamston, SC 29697).
