With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Nation Jr. of Williamston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Olive Porter Nation; his parents, Walter B. Nation, Sr. and Lonnie Sargent Nation; his siblings, Mary Taylor, Jack, Jim and Leroy Nation; and his grandson Tristan Nation.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Gail Byrum (Lane) and Karen Diane LeCroy; his sister Pat Williamson; and his grandchildren, Oliver Campbell, Kari Shaw and Jessica Olivia Duffney. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
