Franklin Dewey Hutson Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Dewey Hutson Sr. (Williston, South Carolina), who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey and Lou Ellen Hutson (Rowell); his wife Laraine Hutson; his son-in-law Henry Paul Adkins; his siblings, O'Neal, Emory, Mailon, Ethredge Hutson and Carrie Nell Rhoden (Hutson); and his close friend Williard Hutson (Buddy).
He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Adkins, Lisa Noles, Franklin Dewey Hutson, Jr., Tommy Barnett and Wade Barnett (Arizona); and his siblings, Deacon, Bobby Hutson and Geraldine Carroll (Hutson). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Folk Funeral Home (170 Elko St, Williston, SC 29853-2612). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
