She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jessie Griffin and Lillie Mae Taylor Griffin; her husband Bob Ashba; her children, Joanna Ashba, Robert "Bob" Allen Ashba and James "Bo" Andrew Ashba; and her grandson Brad Sweat.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Annette Sweat of Williston, SC, Donna Ashba Mole (Don Mole) of Williston, SC and Tammy Ashba (Barry Crim) of Swansea, SC; her daughters-in-law, Regina Ashba of Barnwell, SC and Candy Ashba-Smith of Summerton, SC; and her grandchildren, Bobby Ashba (McKenzie), Hannah Ashba, Ellie Fail (Jeremy), Maggie Ashba, Angie Overton (Russell), Robby Sweat, Amanda Smith, Benjamin Mole (Erica Thompson), April Liferidge (Devin), Samantha Baker (Andrew), Courtney Still (Erik) and Cody Creech. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
