He was predeceased by: his parents, Elma Ruth Bodiford and McLaurin Bodiford; his wife Bernice "Fair" Bodiford; his daughter Lynn Bodiford Ritchie; and his siblings, Sybile Lain, Ray Bodiford and McGee Bodiford.
He is survived by: his children, Scotty Bodiford (Lynn) of Easley, SC, Larry Ramey (Pam) of Salem, SC and Karen Kassiah (Rick) of Williston, SC; his grandchildren, Brandon Bodiford, Bryan Bodiford, Summer Kelly, Bernie Harvey, Jamie Baughman, Crystal Gibson, Ricky Ramey and Aaron Ramey; and his siblings, Nellie Rosier, Dianne Barber, Arie Murphy (Bill), James Bodiford (Faye), Donnie Bodiford and Roy Bodiford. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mole Funeral Home (9399 Patterson St, Barnwell, SC 29812). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery (3223 SC-37, Williston, SC 29853).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Barnwell County Animal Shelter, 55 Diamond Rd. Barnwell, SC 29812.
