James leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. James’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew James will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Buster" Lawrimore and Jeanette Sanders Lawrimore; his son Adam Brantley Lawrimore; and his sister Jill Bouchillon. He is survived by: his wife Eletha Myers Lawrimore; his grandson Nathan Lawrimore; and his siblings, Jane Sorey (Stan), Julia Dickerson (Tad) and John Lawrimore (Terri). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel (170 Elko St, Williston, SC 29853). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
