He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vastine Porter and Ella Mae Salley Porter; and his wife Betty Bolen Porter. He is survived by: his children, Mark A. Porter (Lisa) of Summerville, SC and Laura P. Siddons of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Benjamin Porter, Nathan Porter, Bailey Porter, William Siddons and Daniel Siddons; and his caregivers, LaDrettia Harley and Linda Stockman.
