He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Edward and Mescal Dicks; partner: Gloria Sweat; wife: Deborah Dicks; children: Jesse Dicks and Miriam Hays; sister: Faye Lindell; grandchildren: Alec Hook, Kieran Hays, Kristina Phillips; and other grandchildren, nephews, great grandchildren and other extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Winfield Heights Baptist Church (315 Chester St, Williston, SC 29853). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
