She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anderson and Mary Looper Anderson; her spouse Russell W. Nix; her sisters, Frances Seaborn and Edythe Hinton (T. Ray); and her brother-in-law Phil Henderson.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Moore (James) of Williston, Barry Nix (Stephanie) of Elko and Michael Nix (Patti) of Williston; her siblings, Pat Henderson and Davis Anderson; her grandchildren, Jacob Nix, Ashley Nix, Brandon Nix, Drew Nix (Hannah) and Jordan Nix (Jeremy); and her great grandchildren, Jonah Nix and Maddox Nix.

Memorial contributions may be given to Elko Baptist Church, PO Box 277, Elko, SC 29826, and will be designated for the Janie Chapman Offering.
