He was predeceased by : his parents, George William Poore and Patricia Schmitt Poore; and his brothers, Stephen John Poore and Anthony Wayne Poore. He is survived by : his children, Catherine Edwards of Asheville, NC, Theresa Parker (Kenneth) of Concord, NC, Christina Bandieramonte (Matthew) of Huntersville, NC, Matthew Charles Poore Jr. (Lynnea) of Chesapeake, VA and Ann Marie Poore; and his siblings, Christina Poore of Rhode Island, Patricia Murphy of Mount Airy, MD, Mary Beth Poore of Mount Airy, MD, James David Poore (Kimberly) and Michael Joseph Poore. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
