With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nina Sue Childers of Windsor, South Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nina Sue Childers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Robert Hopson and Goldie Bartley Hopson; her husband Tom Childers; and her siblings, Johnny, Harold Hopson, Myrtle May and Launa Scott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Fonteana Dailey (Brandon), New Ellenton and Mytoucha Quarles (Terry); her grandchildren, Michelle Dailey, Michael Dailey, Stacy Hall (Brandy), Jennifer Roberts and Justin Quarles (Brandy); her great grandchildren, Kayla Chavous, Carter Fitzgeral, Madison Hammett, Aidan Roberts, Braedyn Quarles and Wyatt Quarles; and her great great grandchildren, Brayden Stephens and Aloni Dupree.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Grace Covenant Church of God (703 Main St N, New Ellenton, SC 29809). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at the Southlawn Cemetery (4524 Whiskey Rd, Aiken, SC 29803).
