He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Widener Smith; his children, Chris Smith (Alex Salcedo) of Windsor, SC and Tammy Jackson (Chris) of Windsor, SC; his siblings, John D. Smith of Windsor, SC, Debbie Collins of Aiken, SC and Rosemary Arthur of Graniteville, SC; and his grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Burroughs and Austin Riley Jackson.
