She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Samuel and Georgie Wilkes Branham; and her daughters, Lee Anne Walker and Shannon Walker. She is survived by: her husband Larry Wilton Godwin; her children, Jason Walker (Sandy), Wilton Godwin (Suzanne), Amy W. Parker and Lisa G. Henderson (Steve); her siblings, Sammie Branham, Jr. (Betty), Larry Branham, Carolyn Rutland, Brenda Bullard (David), Susan Culbreth (Kirk) and Dawn Dial (Ethan); her grandchildren, Josh Reisterer, Brittany Evans, Ryan Parker, Ansley Parker, Payton Godwin, Kayla Henderson and Wesley Henderson; and her great grandchildren, Ainsley, Blakely, Tinleigh, Hunter and Caylee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Janice's memory to Stephen Greene Baptist Church.
