She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Thomas Gerald and Stella Parker Gerald; and her brother J. T. Gerald. She is survived by : her husband Marcus R. Polk; her children, Jackie Talbert (Jeff) and Chris Marthers (Jennifer); her sister Olivia Ragsdale; and her grandchildren, J. Talbert, Caitlyn Talbert, Caylee Grace Talbert, Stephanie Christian Gray, Chrissy Marthers, Logan Marthers, Jordan Marthers and Tiffany Lippe.
