He was predeceased by: his parents, J. G. Peake and Carrie Haygood Peake; his son Timothy W. Peake; and his siblings, J. G. Peake, Jr., Max Peake, Drayton Peake, Helen Bairefoot and Marjorie Peake.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Hudson Peake; his daughter Melissa P. Glisson; his sister Betty Jean Branham (Robert); his daughter-in-law Lisa Peake Cail; his sister-in-law Robin Summer; his grandchildren, Josh Peake (Rachel), Carrie Glisson (Richard), Douglas Peake (Anna Grey) and Cory Glisson; and his great grandchildren, Ava Grace, Layla, Anna Leigh, Tanner and Phoebe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Leonard's memory to Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene.
