The passing of Shirley Padgett Bittinger of Winnsboro, South Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 9, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Branham and Frances Jackson Branham; her husbands, Johnny Atkerson, Louis Padgett and Bill Bittinger; and her brothers, Harvey Branham, Jr. and Donald Branham.
She is survived by: her son Dale Atkerson (Belinda); her sisters, Bobbie Jean Snyder and Annette Cooper; her granddaughters, Jennifer Daniels (Allen) and Sarah Keefe (William); and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Gracie (Sam) and Noah. She is also survived by many loving stepchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (109 W College St, Winnsboro, SC 29180). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shirley's memory to First United Methodist Church.
