She is survived by: her husband William Claude Marthers Jr.; her brother Miller Brooks; her cousins, Adelaide Brooks and Clyde Brooks Douglass; her children, Jennifer Brooks Marthers and William Claude Marthers, III; her nieces, Janice Raye Brooks and Veda Sandra Brooks; and her nephew Harold Miller Brooks, Jr..
