He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brooks Hendrix and Nancy Blair Hendrix of Blair, SC.; and his wife Catherine Smith Hendrix. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Katie Hancock (Tyler); his sisters, Catherine Asger (Ed) and Frances Porter (Johnny); his siblings' children, Jake Asger, Brooks Asger (Emma), Chanie June (Adam), Brice Porter Williams (Brock) and Nancy Blair Wright (Donnie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Porter, Jack, Donnie Ray, Roe, Aubree and Evie.
