It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cherry Pridgen of Woodruff, South Carolina, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive father Wilbur "Bill" Taylor (Bertha Margaret Owings Taylor); her husband Lionel Eric Pridgen; her daughter Shannon Melton (Sam Slaughter) of Greenville; her stepdaughter Ashley Melton; her daughters, Mila and Madi of Fort Meyers, Florida; her brother Andy Taylor (Tina) of Woodruf; and her half-sisters, Jeni Leaphart of Leesville, Lischer Nanney of Columbia, Wendy Freeman of Columbia and Page Spell of Columbia.
