We announce the death of Dale Hayes (Woodruff, South Carolina), who passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 71. Dale will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rutherford Hayes and Ruby Wilson Hayes; his wife Judie Carswell Hayes; his stepson Michael Nix (Sara) of Duncan; and his half-sisters, Chikita Perry of Virginia and Yvonne Brockmeir of Spartanburg.
