She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Gossett and Emma Jane Hughes Gossett; her former husband Joe D. Smith; and her sisters, Juanita Pete Simmons, Ann Richards, Leola Grubbs, Myrtle Gossett and Carrie Jamison.
She is survived by: her daughter Mitzi Smith Harper; her granddaughter Tori Nakima (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Colby and Lily Claire.
