It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Kennedy (Woodruff, South Carolina), who passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jerry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Pinkney Kennedy and Willie Mae Leverette Kennedy; and his grandson Jonathan Blume. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cogdill Kennedy; and his children, Robin Kennedy Beck (Dale) of Gray Court and Rev. Mark Kennedy (Tonya) of Simpsonville.
