He was predeceased by: his siblings, Oscar Vaughn, Steve Vaughn, Leathy Vaughn, Jackie Shelton and Annie Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Vaughn; his children, Joseph Vaughn, Janie Marie Wall and Mark Seawright; and his sister Sarah Bellew. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
