Kate Hames Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2025, at the age of 102, Kate Hames of Woodruff, South Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kate Hames to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Crooke and Lura Huggins Crooke. She is survived by: her children, Juanita "Nita" Hames High of Saluda, NC and Clyde Robert "Bob" Hames; her daughter-in-law Phyllis Hames; her grandchildren, Gabe Armour (Amy), Nikki Lindsey (Jay) and Landon Hames (Annie); and her great grandchildren, Keegan Armour, Jordyn Lindsey, Sofie Armour, Jake Hames, Jackson Lindsey, Shelby Burnett Ally Stockman (Micah), Emory Burnett and Palmer Burnett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodruff First Baptist Church 801 Cross Anchor Road, Woodruff SC 29388 or to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Avenue.
