He was predeceased by: his parents, Magdalene Jones Washington and Jimmie Gist of Charlotte, NC. He is survived by: his daughters, Takenvia Jones of Charlotte, NC and Hogan of Coco; and his siblings, Junelle Gist Washington of Charlotte, NC, James Gist (Linda) of Charlotte, NC and Dennis Gist (Maxine) of Weddington.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (490 Cross Anchor Rd, Woodruff, SC 29388).
