He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Allen Burrell and Nellie Grace Plumley Burrell; and his siblings, Barbara Edwards (Wayne), Lynn Waters and Frank Allen Burrell.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Dietz Burrell; his children, Heather Jean Burrell (Donny Osborne) of Moore and James Michael Burrell; his granddaughter Madison Nicole Osborne of Moore; his great grandchild Nova Grace Osborne-Greene; and his sister-in-law Teresa Burrell of Landrum.
