It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Wood of Woodruff, South Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Oneal Wood; her parents, Carl Lanford and Tinnie Chesney Lanford; and her grandson Andrew Snow. She is survived by: her children, Dora Evans (Wayne) of Woodruff and Tommy Wood of Woodruff; her grandchildren, April Perry (Jacob), Lee Peace (Sandy) and Tyler Wood (Chloe Godinez); and her great grandchildren, Cohen Perry, Caden Perry, Carson Peace, Jesse Brooks, Hunter Peace and Silas Snow.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Bellview Baptist Church (901 Bellview Rd, Woodruff, SC 29388). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at the TBD Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery (901 Bellview Rd, Woodruff, SC 29388).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bellview Baptist Church Building Fund, 901 Bellview Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
