She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Lee "Bub" Lanford and Myrtle Jones Lanford; her spouse Thelbert Varner; her sons, Steve Goforth and Donnie Goforth; her grandson Chris Goforth; her brothers, James Lanford, Sam Lanford and Edwin "Snookie" Lanford; Joe Goforth.
She is survived by: her sons, Jack Goforth (Patsy) of Greenville and Joe Earl Goforth (Joyce) of Woodruff; her grandchildren, Mark Goforth of Woodruff and Pamela Batson of Greenville; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ballenger of Woodruff and Anna Batson of Greenville; and her great great grandchildren, Kayden, Kennedy and Maddox. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
