With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myrtle Knighton of Woodruff, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Myrtle departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Myrtle may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Myrtle leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Henderson and Ada Janelle Fleming Henderson; her husband Ronnie Knighton; her children, Tony Waddell and Linda Waddell; and her sister Mary Lee Mason.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Wood and Johnny Ray Waddell (Paula) of Woodruff.
