She was predeceased by: her parents, Hampton Miles Grubbs and Mary Ruth Fowler Grubbs; and her aunt Ella Fowler Patterson Slaughter. She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Ronnie" Hunter Godfrey; her children, Tara Baldisseroto (Pierpaolo) of Moore and Mark Godfrey (Donna) of Woodruff; her brother Thomas H. Grubbs of Chesnee; and her grandchildren, Samantha, Ashleigh, Sophia and Alexander.
